Admissions
Admissions to Lever House
Children may start school at the beginning of the academic year in which they turn five years old.
You must apply for a school place if your child has a 4th birthday between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.
You must apply even if an older brother or sister is already at the school, or the school is linked to your child’s nursery. If you’re a non-Lancashire resident, apply through your own local authority.
You need to officially apply online to start at school. This is organised by Lancashire County Council.
You can do this online by clicking here.
The closing date is Thursday 15th January 2026. Offers are issued to parents in April 2026.
If you are interested in your child attending our school, please book on to our Open Day event on Tuesday 4th November 2025 from 1.00pm - 5.00pm. You will have the opportunity to look at learning, speak to pupils and staff and explore our school and grounds. On this day, there will be an information session in the school hall at 2pm and 4pm with Miss Cooper. All family members are welcome to this event – we look forward to welcoming you.
We will run a limited number of school tours led by the Headteacher, Miss Cooper or the Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Dawson. These are for prospective parents and aim to give you information about the school. We don't recommend you bring children to these tours for this reason.
For children, we hold 'Open Classroom' sessions for your child to come along with you and explore our early years areas and meet key adults and class teachers while they play.
This will help you get a feel of what a special place Lever House is and experience the loving, fun, caring atmosphere that exists here.
