Sycamore had their first session with  Gareth Walker in Literacy Kicks.  Gareth has worked on national newspapers for over 20 years as a sports journalist.  Today we wrote a match report on England’s Euro 2024 Qualifier win over Italy, when Harry Kane broke the country’s goal scoring record. Gareth helped us to write notes while watching clips of the match.  When used our notes to write a news paper article.
